How can you go from 2014’s Reflecktor to this? You can’t. It’s too lazy. If this guy wants to give up, he should. Imagine if this dude had just done some covers of Alice In Chains, this might have worked out.
  • Another good one

Don’t care for End of Empire I & II - but the rest of the album is great. Arcade Fire’s catalog of awesome songs continues to grow.

3 songs are really replay-heavy. The others would be considered deep cuts and okay. I would consider the others as Neon Bible/The Suburbs “b-sides.” End of The Empire I-III is probably their strongest lyrical song. 7/10 overall.

Only a handful of albums have made an imprint on my soul in real-time, but WE is among them. This album is an experience. Press ‘play’ and let it finish. This record should be experienced in its beautiful entirety. WE is a modern masterpiece. I only hope that Arcade Fire carves out and hour during each show on the tour to play this gem from start to finish.

    Uninspired. Underwhelming.
  • more trash.

this band had a few good songs in their early days, but the output in the last 5+ years is just garbage. win has lost his compass, and he has average talent surrounding him. uninspired. too many moving parts to sing and play simplistic music. and btw, you don’t need like 15 people on stage to perform songs that would take a max of 4 to replicate album takes. kinda like new-school DMB. eek. steer clear. just awful.
  • The Natural Evolution from Reflektor and The Suburbs that EN Failed to Be

    By BrunoTheBestDog
This album feels like Arcade Fire evolving and growing as a band without devolving into the cynical, lazy songwriters that created Everything Now. With the building of the record into separate halves, the group wrote their usual uniquely structured songs with lyrics that match their usual social criticisms. The next half balances the first by using optimistic ideas and sounds without losing any of their magical touch. Each track, most notable Age of Anxiety I and Unconditional II (Race and Religion), makes you want to bask in the beauty of it again and again and again. Overall, by being well-structured, emotionally moving, and diverse in its track list, this album earns a five star ranking.
  • Love it!!
